Bianca reminded Marceau that he was her husband, and he was the person she loved. During that time Bianca thought that Marceau had to say something harsh to push her away.
However, at such a critical moment, Marceau was not cruel enough to hurt her even more with his hateful words. Marceau learned the right way to drink tea first thing before joining the Davoville family.
When she was young his mother and other acquaintances forced him to drink from a teacup. But back then he was not aware that his mother’s tea cups always had alcohol in them.
Later whenever he used to look into a teacup, she always used to think about that time. Marceau’s mother’s face was always joyful and helpless when she used to see the son of the man who had abandoned his suffer.
Marceau used to recall the image of his mother when she used to look like a ghost wandering through the winter fields. Marceau informed Bianca his mother was a mean person, and his father was good for nothing.
So he considered himself a lowly person, who could never have anything to do with the count. He mentioned to Bianca that he had been fooling her and her family the entire time they were together.
Marceau explained to Bianca that he always despised her and the count’s family. Marceau told her divorce was always out of the question, and suggested to her that they should either kick him out of the Count’s family or kill him.
Bianca hugged Marceau and reminded him that he should not say such scary things. She suggested he go home, but Marceau was not sure why Bianca was ready to forgive him.
Because he considered himself a shameless fraudulent. Bianca informed him that she had a secret that she could not tell him.
It turned out she was embarrassed the entire time because she believed that the reason Marceau had no choice but to lie about everything was because he liked her.
