Movies and TV shows are mainly made to entertain and sometimes educate. Some, like 3 Body Problem, really focus on educating their viewers. This show teaches us about planetary science and makes us realize how important it is that Earth orbits just one star.

If it had three, things would get really chaotic — just look at the San-Ti. Despite its heavy science content, 3 Body Problem has done well since its debut, regularly making it to Netflix’s Top 10 list.

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the creators of Game of Thrones, along with Alexander Woo, made 3 Body Problem. By the end of the first season, the show leaves us at the start of the Wallfacer program, with humans getting ready for an invasion.

3 Body Problem is ranked in Netflix’s Top 10.

Many thought adapting Cixin Liu’s 3 Body Problem novels for TV would be tough, but it’s been done well so far. Now, people are curious about what will happen in Season 2.

Even though Netflix hasn’t confirmed a second season, the creators are already thinking about it. Weiss talked about the challenges of adapting the expansive novels, saying they have a lot to figure out.

The story revolves around a group of scientist friends investigating serial suicides in their community. This investigation leads them to play vital roles in defending Earth against an alien invasion 400 years in the future.

The series had to adapt for its global audience, with most of the cast speaking English but keeping the Chinese flashbacks. The goal is to tell a story that shows humanity either coming together or failing to face a major threat
