Ever after the passing of Heo Sun-Yeong, Jae-Won’s life has become very dismal. She was placed under arrest, checked into a mental health facility, and fired from her own company. She has experienced a setback, but she hasn’t given up hope yet.

Episode 13 of My Happy Ending suggests that Jae-Won will make a big comeback to vanquish her adversaries. It won’t be easy, though, since her plan to depose Yoon Jin and her father would only cause her additional problems. It will be interesting to watch how she handles such a terrible fate. Because Jae-Won is unable of controlling her resentment, she chooses to devise a risky scheme to catch Kwon Young-Ik in order to exact revenge. However, the latter has also made plans to eliminate Jae-Won. Therefore, he gives the order for a man to kidnap Jae-Won without realizing that she is wearing a covert camera to capture his dark side.

My Happy Ending Episode 13’s teaser clip reveals that Jae-Won would be able to entice Young-Ik. She will find it easy to uncover his evil schemes and devise a plan to expose both him and his daughter. Te-Oh is able to save her while she handles the problem. My Happy Ending Episode 13 suggests that she may encounter a more challenging circumstance, though.

They think she’s the one responsible for the most recent hit-and-run incident. Jae-Won gives the news conference at which she discloses Young-Ik, while the investigating team takes an unexpected turn. It immediately causes the father-daughter relationship to become even more dysfunctional. But as the promo video plays, it seems like Jae-Won will soon be duped by someone who is closer to her.

After observing the tremendous drama in the previous episodes, Yoon Te-Oh hit Sang-Beom in My Happy Ending Episode 12, which saw Jae-Won taken home. When they noticed an intruder outside Te-Oh’s residence, she became worried for her safety.

She still desired to remain at home, but seeing her psychiatrist, Jo Su-Gyeong, as part of a hallucination was becoming problematic for her due to her mental state. Despite the toll it took on her mental state, Jae-Won did not hesitate to threaten Yoon-Jin.

She also promised to punish Yoon-Jin and her father, Young-Ik, for their transgressions. As the episode progressed, Nam Tae-Joo—a mysterious character—came into focus. Tae-Joo went immediately to see Jae-Won’s father as soon as he got to town to remind him of his previous transgressions.

Subsequently, it emerged that Jae-Won’s mother’s demise was caused by her father. However, Oh Soo-Jin, a rookie investigator, was tasked with looking into the situation.

He called Jae-Won right away to question her about the murder of Sun-Yeong. Even though the new detective’s interrogation went nowhere, his interaction with Tae-Joo hinted at bigger things to come. Could it have anything to do with Jae-Won’s confusing past and absent memory?
