Is Johnny Vegas Married?
Johnny Vegas was earlier married to Catherine ‘Kitty’ Donnelly. The two tied the knot in 2002 but the marriage turned out to be short-lived as they parted ways during the Christmas of 2006. The two share a son named Michael Pennington Jr.
The former pair met the then-interior designer in a West London pub and soon fell in love. There were rumours of infidelity as Catherine later revealed that she discovered five messages that Johnny had sent to a woman called Ursula. Catherine did not disclose much about the rumoured affair.
Johnny was married for the second time to Irish TV presenter Maia Dunphy, who is a renowned personality as she was seen on the final of Celebrity Masterchef: Ireland in 2013 and participated in Dancing with the Stars in 2018, as she has also hosted her shows and documentaries and been a producer.
Are Maia Dunphy And Johnny Vegas Together?
Maia and Johnny are not together anymore. The former couple tied the knot in her mother’s residence town of Seville, Spain back in 2011. The two share a son named Tom back in 2015.
She also wrote a book about her journey to motherhood. Maia admitted that during the start of their relationship, she wanted success in her own right and was more careful to not become ‘Mrs Vegas’.
Maia Dunphy had earlier opened up about her marital while revealing that once they were together, she was soon offered reality shows and daytime television slots in the UK while calling it the kind of breaks people in her line of work might dream of but Dunphy admitted there these were not the breaks she wanted.
Maia further admitted that she had no interest in suddenly being Mrs Vegas, as she worked too hard for that and that she never traded off him and just kept ploughing her furrow, as she revealed how even in Ireland, her more famous husband was always the deal-breaker.
Maia also revealed that as soon as they got together, Johnny Vegas was the first thing people asked her about. While the two parted ways in 2018 the pair soon reconciled for good it was short-lived as the two finally parted ways in 2020. Maia later confirmed the news via Twitter.
What Happened To Johnny Vegas?
Johnny Vegas has earlier revealed that he has recently been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The television star opened up about his diagnosis in an early interview as he stated how a lot of things make sense while continuing that sense of disorganisation and doing basic tasks and while everybody has an element of it, that is how strong their filter is.
Johnny Vegas went on to state that he always knew that he knows that he was disorganised… but it was the diagnosis that helped him to make sense of a lot of things at school and that he was just on the verge of learning about it. The television star has also been diagnosed with ADHD at the end of 2022.
