On February 6th, BTS’s official YouTube channel, “BANGTANTV,” released a heartwarming video titled “Message from Jin: Feb 2024,” where Jin, currently fulfilling his military service, took a moment to connect with fans.
In the video, Jin warmly greeted, saying, “This is Jin. It’s great to see you. It’s February of 2024 now and I’m back to see you again like this. I’m still 31 right now.“ He shared a personal touch, mentioning that he’s recording the video at 31 and engaged in making alcohol with his teacher, Park Rokdam. Jin humorously added, “I’m making alcohol right now, and apparently, it tastes better the more it ages.”
Looking ahead, Jin contemplated the future of the brew, stating, “So, by the time you’re watching this video, I expect that the alcohol will be really good. It’ll be about a year and a half… Or maybe two years in the future. A year? A little over a year? About that much in the future. But I just wanted to let you know what I was thinking right now.”
Expressing his genuine care for fans, Jin urged them to take care of their health during the lingering winter, saying, “It’ll probably still be really cold, so don’t get sick, don’t catch a cold, and make sure to dress warmly when it’s cold out. I hope you always stay healthy. I also hope you know that I always miss you.”
Closing the heartfelt message, Jin added a touch of humour and humility, stating, “Anyway, I’ll be back next month or the month after that. This pretty face… I’m not sure if I’ll get this face back, but my face didn’t look like this at 25 at 27 or 29. It might not ever come back, but still… Take a look at this pretty face for a long, long time.”
