Recently, on “American Idol,” Emmy Russell, Lynn’s granddaughter, showcased her talent. Performing an original piano piece titled “Skinny,” the 24-year-old artist from Nashville captivated judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan. With her poignant song shedding light on the struggle of eating disorders, Russell earned herself a coveted spot in Hollywood.

Russell, Lynn’s granddaughter, hails from Nashville, Tennessee. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter already boasts two tracks on Spotify: “Skinny,” the same captivating piece she performed on “American Idol,” and “Breakup Song,” launched on Feb. 24.
