BLACKPINK’s JENNIE achieves historic milestone with debut solo “SOLO.” On February 29, 2024, Jennie’s “SOLO” hit One Billion views on YouTube, setting a landmark for K-pop female soloists as the first to accomplish this feat on the platform.

It also marks the first K-pop soloist music video in a decade to reach this milestone since PSY’s “Gentleman.”

Jennie’s captivating vocals, poignant melody, and confident delivery in “SOLO” have garnered immense adoration, keeping it steadily popular on both YouTube and Spotify.

Currently, it stands as the most streamed song by a K-pop Female Soloist on Spotify.

Currently, the only K-pop artists with at least one song surpassing One Billion views on YouTube are BLACKPINK, BTS, PSY, and JENNIE. However, LISA is on the brink of joining them, with less than 30 million views remaining to reach this milestone.
