The official website for the live-action film adaptation of Satoru Noda’s gripping adventure manga, Golden Kamuy, made a groundbreaking announcement today.
Revealing plans for a sequel drama series, titled “Golden Kamuy: Hokkaido Irezumi Shuzin Soudatsu-hen” (Hokkaido Tattooed Prisoners Scramble Arc), the series is slated to broadcast on WOWOW’s Serial Drama W programming block in the fall of 2024.
To heighten anticipation, a captivating 60-second teaser trailer is now available online.
The sequel series promises a narrative extension from the live-action film, delving into the next chapter of the Golden Kamuy saga. All 13 main cast and staff members from the film are set to reprise their roles, ensuring continuity and familiarity for the fans.
Additionally, the cast welcomes four new members, with Hiroyuki Ikeuchi as Kiroranke, Maryjun Takahashi as Inkarmat, Yuki Sakurai as Kano Ienaga, and Akihisa Shino as Kantaro Okuyama.
