Marin Hinkle and her former spouse Randall Sommer have recently concluded the proceedings of their divorce, marking the culmination of their 25-year-long marriage.
In legal filings, the ex-couple submitted an uncontested declaration of default, accompanied by a comprehensive written agreement elucidating the intricacies of their union and the reasons behind its dissolution.
Notably, both Hinkle, known for her role in “Two and a Half Men,” and Sommer have petitioned the court to “reserve jurisdiction to award spousal or partner support in the future” for both parties, albeit they have already reached a mutual understanding regarding the specifics of such support.
The payment of the attorney fees for both individuals has also been outlined in their written agreement.
The documents specify that the order is “stipulated,” indicating the agreement of both parties, “pursuant to the Stipulated Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage.”
The former couple initiated divorce proceedings in September following their 25-year marriage. In a joint statement shared, they expressed,
“After careful consideration, we have decided to end our marriage. We remain caring friends with mutual respect, admiration, and love for one another and for our son.”
They exchanged vows in August 1997 and later welcomed their son, Ben, who is now a teenager. Throughout their marriage, the duo maintained a largely private stance on their personal lives.
Marin Hinkle gained recognition for her supporting roles on television shows such as Once and Again, Two and a Half Men, and Madam Secretary.
She later secured a prominent role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, portraying Rose Weissman alongside a talented ensemble cast that included Rachel Brosnahan and Alex Borstein.
