The latest trailer for Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac – Battle for Sanctuary Part 2 was released today. It announced that the show will premiere on April 1 in Japan. This follows the teaser trailer released last November.
Crunchyroll will stream the series in various regions, including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS, as previously announced at CCXP 2022.
The staff announced for Battle for Sanctuary Part 2 includes Yoshiharu Ashino as the director, Eugene Song as the screenplay writer, Terumi Nishii as the character designer, Noji Okazaki as the robe designer, Yorihiro Ike as the music composer, Satoshi Nozawa as the CG director, and Toei Animation as the animation production company.

The initial Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac series debuted on Netflix from 2019 to 2020. It covered the “Galaxian Wars,” “Black Knights,” and “Silver Saints” story arcs.
In 2022, Crunchyroll streamed Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac – Battle for Sanctuary with both subbed and dubbed versions available.
Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac is based on Masami Kurumada’s Saint Seiya manga, which started in 1986.
There have been other Saint Seiya animations before, like a TV series from the 80s, several movies (even a 2014 CG one), and an OVA series. In 2023, a live-action Hollywood movie called Knights of the Zodiac was released.
