The main promo video for the TV anime of Megumi Morino’s manga “A Condition Called Love” was revealed on the official website. The video gives a sneak peek at Sexy Zone’s opening theme song titled “Kimi no Sei” (It’s Your Fault).
The anime is set to debut on April 4 at 11:56 p.m. JST on TBS and its 28 affiliate channels. In Japan, viewers can catch it on ABEMA and Netflix. Crunchyroll will also stream the series as it airs.
In the anime, Kana Hanazawa voices Hotaru Hinase, Chiaki Kobayashi voices Saki Hananoi, Yurika Kubo voices Hibiki “Kyo-chan” Asami, Maaya Sakamoto voices Tsukiha “Shibamu.”
Shibamura, Ryohei Kimura voices Sohei Yao, Ryota Ohsaka voices Keigo Kurata, Kazuyuki Okitsu voices Yukihiro Kuroe, and Sayumi Suzushiro voices Satomi Satomura.
Tomoe Makino, known for works like “Aharen-san wa Hakarenai” and “Kotaro Lives Alone,” is directing the anime at East Fish Studio.
Hitomi Amamiya, who has worked on series like “Merc Storia: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle” and “Chillin’ in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King’s Army,” is supervising and writing the series scripts.
Akiko Satō, recognized for her work on “Trigun Stampede,” is designing the characters, while yamazo is composing the music.
The opening theme song “Kimi no Sei” (It’s Your Fault) will be performed by Sexy Zone. Additionally, the ending theme song, “Every Second” (Japanese version), will be sung by the Danish-Japanese artist Mina Okabe.
Kodansha USA Publishing began digitally publishing the manga in English in 2020. They released the first physical English volume of the manga in January 2023. The seventh volume is set to be released on March 26.
Morino debuted the manga in Kodansha’s Monthly Dessert magazine in December 2017. Since then, it has garnered significant popularity, with over 3.8 million copies in circulation.
The manga received the prestigious Best Shojo Manga award at Kodansha’s 45th Manga Awards in 2021, this award further established the manga’s fame and respect in the industry.

About A Condition Called Love
At 16 years old, Hotaru, a first-year high school student, has never been particularly interested in love. Instead, she cherishes her lively life with family and friends.
However, everything changes when she spots her classmate, Hananoi-kun, sitting alone in the snow following a messy breakup.
Without a second thought, she offers to share her umbrella with him. But the next day, when he unexpectedly asks her out in the middle of class, Hotaru can’t shake the feeling that her life is about to take a dramatic turn.
