Tom Cruise has allegedly ended his relationship with Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova due to concerns over her outspoken ex-husband, Dmitry Tsvetkov, a colorful international diamond trader.
Tsvetkov recently gave an interview while detailing his marriage to Khayrova and cautioning Cruise to be vigilant.
The brand new interview reportedly unnerved Cruise’s team, who didn’t want to deal with ongoing negative publicity from Tsvetkov.
Tsvetkov, who prefers the term “tycoon” over oligarch, surprisingly expressed admiration for Cruise during the interview, calling him his “favorite actor” and discussing a potential movie about his own life with Cruise in the lead role.
Despite their split in late February, there are reportedly no hard feelings between Cruise and Khayrova, with a source stating that their relationship had simply reached its natural end.
Khayrova, the daughter of a Vladimir Putin ally, seems to be taking the breakup in stride, as she has been posting on Instagram from the luxurious Amara hotel in Cyprus, including a reflective message about self-worth and love.
Though Khayrova remains hopeful about the possibility of reconciling with Cruise, she appears to be embracing her independence and focusing on self-care in the meantime.
