She highlighted the challenge of battling falsehoods for attention and enduring constant ridicule based on her appearance, as well as the unjust scrutiny of her character by those who don’t truly know her.
Last August, three former dancers of Lizzo filed a lawsuit against her, alleging instances of sexual harassment and a toxic work environment dating back to 2021. In September of the same year, another former employee filed a separate lawsuit.
Lizzo has vehemently refuted all accusations, asserting her commitment to respect and her own experiences with body shaming, stating she would never discriminate against an employee based on their weight.
Despite the controversies, Lizzo remains steadfast in her defense and determination to continue her music career, advocating for women’s respect and challenging the negative portrayal she has endured.
