Joining the Packers in 1999 under head coach Ray Rhodes, Beightol’s impact on the offensive line was profound and enduring. He continued his tenure under Mike Sherman until 2004, overseeing the development of key players like Frank Winters, Marco Rivera, Chad Clifton, and Mark Tauscher, all of whom earned recognition in the team’s Hall of Fame.

Additionally, under Beightol’s guidance, players such as Rivera and Mike Flanagan earned Pro Bowl honors.

Beightol’s coaching journey began under the tutelage of legendary coaches Marv Levy and Lou Holtz, starting as a defensive line coach before transitioning to the offensive line. His coaching acumen and dedication earned him induction into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame (Western Division).

Notably, he was honored to be introduced by Rivera upon Rivera’s induction into the Packers Hall of Fame in 2011.

After wrapping up his coaching career following the 2005 season, Beightol left a lasting legacy in Green Bay, contributing to the team’s success with four playoff appearances during his tenure. His impact on the game and the players he mentored will be remembered fondly by the football community.
