In Astro Note, a mix-up becomes the main event as Takumi faces a misunderstanding that might mess up his new romance.

Takumi believes Mira, the person he likes, is a widow. This thought makes him unsure about trying to win her over.

Takumi needs to figure out what’s really going on with Mira, or his wrong ideas might get in the way of finding love.

In Astro Note Episode 1, an exciting space battle happens as a single spaceship escapes from being chased and crashes onto Earth.

The focus then moves to Miyasaki Takumi, who visits Astro Lodge. There, he meets Gotokuji Mira and helps with a scratch from a poodle named Naosuke.

Takumi finds out that the lodge needs a breakfast chef and decides to cook them the fish he finds in the kitchen after hearing their request.

After a quick montage of Takumi cooking breakfast, the lodge members enjoy the delicious meal together. Mira’s compliments lead to speculation about Takumi’s feelings for her.

Feeling encouraged to win Mira’s heart, Takumi chooses to stay on as the head chef. As Takumi gets used to his new job, he meets other people living in the lodge.

This includes the mysterious novelist Yamashita Shokichi and the idol Matsubara, who uses the name Terurun while working.

The next morning, Takumi impresses everyone with another great breakfast, showing that he belongs in the lodge.

In their next talks, Takumi finds out that Mira doesn’t know much about modern technology. This leads to funny conversations about smartphones and Wi-Fi.

After a fun trip to the grocery store, Takumi goes to Mira’s room and hears her say something mysterious about being a Wido. He wrongly thinks she’s a widow and goes back to his room feeling sad.

In Mira’s room, a surprising talk happens between her and Naosuke, who acts almost like a human. They discuss a mysterious key connected to Mira’s background as the heir to the throne of Widi.

The first episode of Astro Note ends with the introduction of a strange bird-like robot watching Mira and Naosuke from outside their window. This suggests there are more mysteries to uncover at Astro Lodge.
