CEO of JYP Entertainment Praised for being Donation ANGEL by netzines.

Park Jin-young, the CEO and CEO of JYP Entertainment, has emerged as a leading “Donation Angel” in the K-pop industry. Over the last two years, he has generously contributed a staggering 2 billion won (approximately 1.5 million USD) to various charitable causes, including substantial donations to World Vision, Samsung Medical Center, and local hospitals in Korea.

His heartfelt motivation stems from a desire to support children in need of medical treatment, driven by his role as a father of young daughters.

The spirit of giving extends throughout JYP’s roster of artists. Stray Kids’ Felix has demonstrated his commitment to philanthropy, donating to World Vision and regularly supporting vulnerable urban groups through lunchbox donations.

Notably, he became the youngest member of UNICEF’s Honor Club for donations exceeding 100 million won in 2024. Fellow Stray Kids members Changbin and Hyunjin have also made significant contributions to The Promise, showcasing their positive influence on fans through meaningful actions.

TWICE’s Nayeon and ITZY’s Ryujin have also made impactful donations. Nayeon contributed to COVID-19 relief efforts, supported patients lacking proper medical care, and aided earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
