Despite Joel Embiid’s playoff guarantee after the Game 2 loss to the Knicks, the Sixers found themselves eliminated from the postseason in Game 6.

Despite Embiid’s efforts while battling injury and minor Bell’s Palsy, the team fell short as the New York side secured a 118-115 victory on Thursday, advancing to round 2.

Following the game, both Embiid and Tyrese Maxey addressed the press, with Maxey expressing his gratitude towards the center. Maxey emphasized their partnership and friendship, acknowledging Embiid’s belief in him from the beginning.
