In a series of Instagram posts, Mena accused Samuels of frequently neglecting their children, despite living close by.
She claimed that he sometimes goes months without seeing their kids, highlighting occasions like their son Legend’s recent birthday where Samuels allegedly appeared empty-handed and only briefly for a photo opportunity.
Mena further criticized Samuels for failing to properly groom and dress their children when he does have them in his care. She posted photos showing what she described as neglect in their appearance, including messy hairstyles and inadequate clothing. She expressed frustration that despite Samuels’ public persona and financial means, he does not prioritize their children’s grooming and well-being when they are with him.
The dispute escalated with Mena alleging that Samuels contributes little beyond monthly child support payments and has missed significant family events such as Christmas and their daughter’s birthday. She accused him of disrupting their children’s routines by placing them in a summer camp without consulting her, questioning his commitment to their well-being and his role as a father.
Despite Mena’s vocal criticisms, Samuels has not publicly responded to her accusations. His recent social media activity has focused on unrelated matters, while Mena continues to use her platform to highlight what she perceives as his shortcomings as a parent.
The public airing of grievances comes amidst ongoing tensions between the ex-couple, amplified recently by comments made by Samuels regarding his past relationship with Nicki Minaj, which also drew a response from Mena.
