The New Look for Apple TV+ follows renowned French fashion designer Christian Dior’s ascent to popularity after World War II and his rivalry with the renowned Coco Chanel. Three years after France was freed from Nazi control, in 1947, he debuted his first fashion collection, which is the inspiration behind the name of the Apple TV+ series.

The four years of occupation and the many strategies Coco and Christian used for their jobs and survival during that period are the main topics of the first few episodes of The New Look.
