The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Kaito’s fantasy light novel series, “A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero” (known as “Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyutan” in Japan), announced today that it is scheduled to premiere in Japan in July 2024. This TV anime project was first unveiled in January of this year.

The TV anime is under the direction of Tomoki Kobayashi, known for his work on “Remake Our Life!”, and is produced by studio Gekkou.

Kazuyuki Fudeyasu takes charge of the series composition, while Shoko Yasuda handles the character designs, and Keiji Inai provides the music.

Yuya Hozumi, recognized for his role as Gildan in “SEVEN KNIGHTS REVOLUTION: Hero Successor”, lends his voice to the protagonist, Kaito Takagi, while Kana Hanazawa, known for voicing Mitsuri in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”, portrays the main heroine, Sylphy.

The story revolves around Kaito Takagi, a typical high school student who earns his keep by exploring the “dungeons” that have mysteriously appeared across Japan.

Despite his low stats and inability to face even a goblin without fleeing, Kaito dedicates himself to hunting slimes. However, his fate takes a turn when he encounters a rare “golden slime” that drops a valuable item called a “servant card”.

With this card, Kaito gains the ability to summon a Valkyrie, a formidable battle maiden, and his fortunes as a low-level slime hunter begin to change.

This anime promises to deliver a thrilling tale of adventure and self-discovery as Kaito navigates the challenges of his newfound abilities and embarks on an epic journey in a world filled with dungeons and monsters.
