On top of that, the man who put a curse on him looked like Ronan’s father. Ronan told him it could be true, but Professor Sekrit was not sure why Ronan thought that it was true.
Because he had already mentioned that his appearance was unrecognizable. Ronan explained that he heard what his mother and sister said to his father.
He mentioned that when the guy messed up with his family, he felt something. Ronan explained that he felt something foreign that was not recognizable on his own.
He could feel his unfamiliar sorrow, that was partially the reason why he could not help but get even more riled up. When he thought about it, he wondered if it could have been an emotion that the man was feeling.
Professor Sekrit asked Ronan if he had any memories of his family at all. Ronan told him it was true and on top of that, his sister and he thought about the reason for it.

It was as if that kind of memory was erased from his head itself. Professor Sekrit realized that it meant that only his ability to perceive mana was sealed.
But also his awareness of his existence. It almost seemed like his father had put a curse on Ronan and messed up with his memory as well.
In the process, some of the caster’s memory was transferred to Ronan. Professor Sekrit explained to Ronan that magic spells related to memories occasionally had that kind of side effect.
