Actress Hwang Jung Eum has once again filed for divorce from her husband. On February 22, Hwang Jung Eum’s label Y1 Entertainment confirmed earlier rumors of her divorce proceedings after 8 years of marriage. The label stated,

“After a lot of deliberation, Hwang Jung Eum decided it’s no longer possible to maintain her marriage and is in the process of filing for divorce.”

Y1 Entertainment further stated that details regarding the divorce cannot be disclosed due to their private nature. They also urged the media and netizens to abstain from spreading rumors or creating provocative reports that could harm the reputation of the actress and her children. 

Hwang Jung Eum tied the knot with businessman and former professional golfer Lee Young Don in 2016. The couple welcomed their first son in August 2017. However, in September 2020, Hwang Jung Eum filed for divorce.

Their separation was short-lived as they reconciled in July 2021 after resolving their differences. Subsequently, they celebrated the arrival of their second son in 2022.

Well, in other news, Hwang Jung Eum is presently engaged in filming for the second season of ‘The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection’.
