Originating from the widely loved webtoon of the same name, this cinematic adaptation narrates the tale of Yumi, an average office worker, as seen through the lens of the numerous brain cells orchestrating her thoughts, emotions, and actions.

The television version, “Yumi’s Cells,” produced by TVING and featuring Kim Go Eun, Ahn Bo Hyun, and GOT7‘s Jinyoung, gained immense popularity and critical acclaim during its engaging two-season run from 2021 to 2022.

After captivating audiences and maintaining its status as a bestseller for nine years, “Yumi’s Cells” is now set to step onto the big screen with “Yumi’s Cells: The Movie.” This animated feature follows Yumi’s ensemble of cells on a mission to restore her happiness amidst the turmoil caused by her dominant “Love Cell” and “Anxious Cell.”

Helmed by Kim Da Hee, the director responsible for overseeing the animation in the drama, the film promises to highlight the endearing charm of the 3D cell characters.
