Emily’s love life in Paris is becoming increasingly complex and exciting. The trailer for season four of “Emily in Paris” reveals that the question of who Emily will end up with is still unresolved. Season three ended with Emily single after breaking up with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) being unavailable due to his ex, Cami (Camille Razat), being pregnant. Now, Emily appears to be open to new romantic possibilities.

In the trailer, Emily confides in her friend Mindy (Ashley Park) about the abundance of attractive men she noticed while running, expressing how she had been too focused on Gabriel and Alfie to notice them before.

However, this conversation takes an unexpected turn when Gabriel, not Mindy, is revealed to be in the shower, asking Emily if she is no longer with Alfie. This moment injects a mix of hope and confusion into Emily’s situation.

Mindy suggests that the path to being with Gabriel seems clear, but Emily reminds her of the complications. Gabriel is expecting a baby with Cami, who is in love with another woman, a secret only Emily knows. This revelation makes Emily’s potential relationship with Gabriel more complicated than it seems.

The trailer also shows that Emily’s breakup with Alfie has gone viral, adding stress to her professional life and straining her relationship with her colleague Julian (Samuel Arnold). Tensions rise as Emily faces confrontations with Gabriel and Cami, with Gabriel expressing his frustration over secrets and Emily sharing his sentiment. This ongoing turmoil highlights the difficulties Emily faces in her personal life.

Despite these challenges, Emily is determined to embrace new experiences. She tells Mindy she is ready for new opportunities, even though her boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) doubts her ability to navigate uncertain situations.

Emily admits that moving on from Gabriel and Alfie is hard, as they both hold significant places in her heart. The season teases a resolution to Emily’s love triangle, with a masquerade ball where she must choose between familiar faces or a new romantic interest. Season four is set to premiere in two parts, on August 15 and September 12.
