Bachelor Nation’s Ashley Iaconetti is clearing up the buzz around her new jewelry.

“I’ve received several messages about the new engagement ring and wedding band I’m wearing, so here’s the scoop,” Iaconetti, 36, explained in a video posted to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, September 3.

“Have you ever noticed how your tastes change? Like, one year you’re into a sleek, modern house with gray, black, and white, and the next year you crave a cozy colonial style with dark walls?

That’s exactly how I feel about rings,” Iaconetti shared in the video. “I absolutely love my original engagement ring. It’s perfect and truly reflects who I am, but it’s platinum, and lately, I’ve been drawn to the gold that’s really in fashion right now.”

She went on to say that her original ring is a princess cut, but she’s been admiring the currently trendy emerald cut.

“So, my husband, [Jared Haibon], did something really sweet for me.

You could call it a push present, although I don’t love that term, but I suppose that’s what it is, and I’m okay with that,” said Iaconetti, who welcomed their second child, son Hayden, in July. The couple also has a 2-year-old son, Dawson.

Iaconetti then showcased her new emerald-cut diamond to the camera.

“Of course, I had some input on the design,” she joked, revealing that she customized the ring herself on JamesAllen.com. “It’s lab-grown, and I’ve always liked the idea of a lab-grown diamond. I’d prefer to have a larger stone that costs less rather than a smaller, more expensive one.”

Iaconetti received her original engagement ring from ABC when Haibon, 35, proposed to her on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise in 2018. They married the following August.

The couple still enjoys watching the Bachelor franchise together, as evidenced by another video Iaconetti shared on her Instagram Story on Tuesday.

“He’s not as annoyed as I am. I’m so grossed out right now,” Iaconetti said in a clip of her and Haibon watching the live finale of season 21 of The Bachelorette while relaxing in bed.

In the caption, Iaconetti reacted to the revelation that Devin Strader had broken up with Bachelorette Jenn Tran shortly after accepting her proposal.

“I can’t believe this. I really came to like Devin over the season,” Iaconetti wrote. “They did a great job developing his character to make us feel connected to him. I’m so disappointed by him now.”

In additional Instagram Stories, Iaconetti voiced her support for Tran, 26, suggesting that she “deserves to be the Bachelorette again” and praising her for her honesty during the finale’s live segment.

“Good for Jenn for saying on live TV, ‘Do I really have a choice?’ when asked if she was ready to watch the proposal. This poor, sweet girl,” Iaconetti commented.

Tran recounted the breakup tearfully during After the Final Rose on Tuesday.

“I thought I found the person I wanted to spend my life with. But as soon as we left Hawaii, things changed,” she said, noting that Strader, 28, began “pulling away” after the show and eventually told her he “regretted” the engagement.

“He basically said he didn’t love me anymore and didn’t feel the same way,” Tran revealed. “He was emotionally checked out. It wasn’t what he wanted anymore.”

Strader, for his part, admitted that he developed “a lot of doubts” after the show, which he “regretfully” didn’t address immediately.

“Unfortunately, I buried those feelings, and I eventually confessed them to you,” Strader told Tran. “I regret not telling you sooner.”
