Greetings from Below Deck Season 11, Episode 2 again! In the episode “Pier Pressure” this week, the group is struggling to work together as a unit. A beach picnic is nearly always doomed by a lack of accountability and attention. Fraser sets down the rules after two stews can’t get along.

And after a disastrous docking follows last week’s disastrous anchor incident, Captain Kerry calls a meeting of conversion with the deck crew. These are a some of the standout scenes from Below Deck, Episode 2 of Season 11.

The guests were going through the longest dinner service ever on the first night when we last left Below Deck. Fraser asks the chef over the radio if he can expedite the following course. The locals are growing agitated. Right now, the lead couple is on a honeymoon. They wish not to spend the entire evening at the table. They have different plans for the future.

Recap

Chef Anthony understands that he needs to straighten things out. He remarks, “Day One was a crazy motherf*cking day.” “I realize I need to improve my timing, but love is a process that takes time.” In addition, I’m making love on the dish. Ack. It’s hardly the most fitting metaphor he could have thought of.

Barbie asks if there is anything more she can fetch for the primaries, who are lingering in the hot tub, as the other visitors head to their cabins. Barbie walks away, and the wife takes off her swimsuit top after telling her they don’t need anything else. “Oh, my God. Barbie murmurs, “Ew,” and descends the steps. After all, this is their honeymoon.

“Would you be interested in joining the guests on their kayak excursion?” Fraser queries Xandi. “You’ve been putting in a lot of effort.”

However, she later confesses to us, saying, “You know, I don’t go in the sun because I’m not even pasty.” I’m not opaque. It is true that she is a “vampire.” When she goes to the beach, perhaps she will glow like the vampires from Twilight. What fun would that be?

Cat tells Fraser on the beach that Barbie has “disrespected” her. Naturally, Ben returns to the boat and tells Barbie about the incident. Ben, keep out of inside business!

Barbie says Ben told her Cat was moaning about her when Fraser called her in to finish the dinner table. “Why is he interfering?” Fraser queries. Since he’s Ben and he believes he’s becoming close to Barbie, perhaps they can have sex afterwards.

Fraser voiceovers, “I don’t know what Ben’s game plan is here.” He’s acting strangely around my girls because, well, I suppose it draws attention to him. It allows a girl to say, “Oh!” to him. How do you mean? He really does want that kind of attention.

Fraser summons Barbie and Cat to the sundeck so they can meet. Fraser prefers his group to function as a unit rather than as a collection of individuals. They must be successful as a team, not as individuals. Fraser smartly puts his foot down when the females start saying things like “you said that” and “you did this.”

He remarks, “We’re getting petty.” “I don’t have time for pettiness, I swear.” He commands, “You’re going to get along and be a good stew.” And I’m sorry, but I can’t f*ckin’ help with that if you can’t. Both of you will be gone.
