Welcome back to Episode 5 of Below Deck, Season 11. This week’s episode, “Come On Eileen,” features Barbie adopting a more conciliatory stance. The captain offers Jared support, and the crew looks after some of the worst charter guests they have ever met.

Xandi keeps attempting to mold Cat into a better stew, but it’s not sticking. The best parts of Below Deck Season 11, Episode 5 are listed below. Fraser and Barbie were having a heated argument at the bar on their night out when we last left off last week.

He had just finished threatening to take her on a plane home if she didn’t start acting more respectfully toward others, notably her boss.

Recap

The fact that Jared can’t obtain a cell signal irritates him. He claims, “I only get to talk to my daughter, like, twice a week.” “I could potentially lose all communication if I fail to adhere to the schedule.” [I’m] attempting to reestablish confidence.

Captain Kerry is speaking with his daughter the following morning as Jared is still attempting to receive a signal. Is Jared in need of changing providers? Perhaps he ought to get a satellite phone.

Jared is radioed to come to the bridge by Captain Kerry. Jared tells him about the preparations for the next charter and expresses his anger at not being able to get through to his daughter. Fraser and Captain Kerry have a bridge meeting. “Hey, buddy! What have you got? Kerry queries.

Fraser begins, “A couple of things for you, sir.” “Cat, I believe she might be dealing with issues outside of work, and I understand that.” She has been flimsy since the season started. Just so you know, most days I cry. That is our main strategy.

If it’s feasible, the captain proposes that Fraser be allowed to take a half-hour break to retire to her cabin and collect her breath when he notices that she’s having a difficult day. “On that note, Barbie gave me a fantastic response yesterday and the day before,” the Chief Stew went on. “She shifted her viewpoint.”

Fraser, Jared, and Anthony receive a call from Captain Kerry about a preference sheet meeting for the next charter. Kerry says, “Please do not give Tina [the primary] a champagne glass.” “She would rather sip from a plastic cup.” How sophisticated. Furthermore wasteful.

I suppose residents of Iowa are unconcerned about the amount of plastic entering our oceans. Fraser concurs with what I’ve said. “To be requesting plastic for each and every drink is insane and foolish,” he remarks.

Kerry keeps reading, “Dislikes beef, pork, poultry, eggs, tofu,” while the insanity escalates. Oh my goodness, will the cook have to make her buttered noodles? What is the woman’s diet?
