Boruto has few friends now, including Sarada. She tries hard to convince others that Naruto is alive, but no one believes her. With few allies and big challenges ahead, how will Boruto save his family?

Mitsuki sees himself as the moon, finding meaning in his life by being like the sun for Kawaki, even though he can only see Kawaki from behind.

He approaches Boruto and threatens to kill him, seeing him as a danger to Kawaki. Using his sage mode, Mitsuki sends many copies of himself to attack Boruto.

But Boruto easily handles them all, getting his sword very close to Mitsuki’s neck. Surprisingly, Boruto doesn’t harm Mitsuki.

Instead, he tells Mitsuki that Kawaki isn’t the sun he’s searching for Boruto himself is that sun. Despite Mitsuki’s attempts to deny it, he can’t bring himself to attack Boruto after this revelation.

Before leaving, Boruto drops a bombshell: Naruto and Hinata are still alive. This shocks Mitsuki and Ino. Later on, Boruto explains to Shikamaru what Ada did, but he also mentions that this crucial information will disappear.

So, Shikamaru has to trust Boruto’s claim that the roles of Boruto and Kawaki have switched, even without solid proof. Shikamaru agrees but tells Boruto that he will still need to lay low as a fugitive for a while.

In the meantime, the intelligent Divine Trees are learning more about the world. They reveal that they have a single question that only Naruto Uzumaki can answer.

In Chapter 8 of Boruto Two Blue Vortex, we’ll see what happens after Boruto and Mitsuki’s fight. Mitsuki has to decide if he’ll keep fighting or if he’ll join Boruto after learning the truth in Chapter 7.

We’ll also find out more about Code’s fate and what Eida and Kawaki are planning. There might even be a visit back to Naruto or Sasuke, especially since Naruto was mentioned last time.
