The Buffalo Bills offense is undergoing changes, particularly at wide receiver, with Gabe Davis leaving for the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency and Stefon Diggs traded to the Houston Texans earlier this month.

Despite the departures, there seems to be no rush to find a new No. 1 receiver for the team.

General manager Brandon Beane addressed the issue, stating that what they need are smart, versatile, and selfless players who can make plays within their skill set, whether from free agency or the draft. While having a No. 1 receiver would be ideal, it’s not essential for the team’s success.

Currently, the Bills’ receiver depth chart features Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, and Mack Hollins, with tight end Dalton Kincaid emerging as a top pass-catching option for Josh Allen in the previous season. Dawson Knox and James Cook also provide options in the passing game.

Despite Beane’s stance, the Bills could still target a receiver early in the draft, with the No. 28 pick potentially being used to select Georgia’s Ladd McConkey.
