Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden delighted fans with unexpected news as they revealed the arrival of their second child, a son named Cardinal.

In a joint Instagram post, they expressed their joy and gratitude for their new addition while also emphasizing their commitment to privacy and safety by refraining from sharing photos.

The couple, who married in 2015, kept the pregnancy private, with their last public appearance together in January enjoying time in Aspen, Colorado. The popular actress has been staying away from the limelight for a while now. 

This surprise announcement follows their revelation in January 2020 of the birth of their first child, daughter Raddix, born via surrogate.

According to an insider, Cameron and Benji had been considering expanding their family through surrogacy for some time, driven by Benji’s desire for a large family and Cameron’s openness to the idea after experiencing motherhood with Raddix.

While they typically keep their personal lives out of the spotlight, Cameron previously shared her admiration for Benji’s parenting skills and her own experiences of motherhood, highlighting the bond they share as they navigate parenthood together.
