Cara Delevingne’s parents have revealed the cause of their daughter’s home fire. In a video obtained, Charles and Pandora Delevingne spoke in London, attributing the incident to “power lines” after a windy night. Pandora expressed Cara’s devastation.

“She had everything in her house, her whole life,” Pandora said. “She built it. She made it.”

Cara Delevingne’s home in Studio City, California caught fire shortly before 4 a.m. local time. The blaze was so severe that it necessitated the efforts of 94 firefighters and took over two hours to control.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department informed that the fire originated in the rear, engulfing one room and spreading to the attic.

“Crews confirmed all occupants were out of the home, and then pulled back into defensive mode due to the long duration of heavy fire exposing the structural members,” the spokesperson continued.

“The house subsequently sustained a roof collapse, as firefighters continued to apply hose streams from the exterior.”

The spokesperson also mentioned that one firefighter was taken to a hospital in fair condition, while one occupant suffered minor smoke inhalation.

Fortunately, Delevingne was not present during the incident, as she was in London performing at Playhouse Theater. Charles and Pandora were outside the theater when approached by the videographer regarding the fire.

Initially, it was feared that Delevingne’s two beloved cats perished in the fire, but she later clarified that they were unharmed, thanks to the bravery of the firefighters.

Delevingne’s girlfriend, musical artist Minke, shared on her Instagram Stories about the distressing day and provided an update on the cats’ well-being.

“Thank you for all the kind messages today. It’s been horrendous, we are devastated,” Minke wrote. “But just got the incredible news our babies are alive. These firefighters are heroes and I can never thank them enough.”
