The anime is set to premiere in 2024. Shinobu Takayama initiated the manga’s serialization in Ichijinsha’s Zero-Sum Ward magazine in 2008. Following the magazine’s discontinuation in 2015, the manga persisted on the Zero-Sum Online service, becoming Takayama’s longest-running serialization.

Ichijinsha has published 16 volumes, accumulating over 1.3 million copies in circulation, including digital copies. Takayama’s previous work, the “Amatsuki” manga, also spawned a television anime in 2008.
