Following the exhilarating finale of Season 1, the team behind the Winter 2024 anime sensation, “Chained Soldier,” delighted fans by announcing the production of Season 2 on Friday, March 22, 2024. 

Now, this announcement came with some goodies too. They released a killer trailer and a stunning key visual, both centered around none other than Demon Defense Force Supreme Commander Ren Yamashiro.

Fans who caught his name drop in the Season 1 finale are probably buzzing with excitement! But hold onto your hats because there’s a catch. While we’re all hyped for Season 2, there’s not a ton of info out there yet.

So, it looks like we’ll have to flex those patience muscles as we wait for more details. Based on when they made the announcement, we’re guessing we won’t see Season 2 until at least the Winter 2025 anime season.

Now, for those who aren’t in the know, “Chained Soldier” is based on a manga by Takahiro and Yohei Takemura. It kicked off in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ digital catalog back in January 2019 and has been keeping readers hooked ever since.

So, while we’re all chomping at the bit for more “Chained Soldier,” let’s hang tight and keep our eyes peeled for updates. The adventure is far from over, folks!

But that’s not all! We’re delighted to confirm that special panels for “Chained Soldier” will be taking place at Anime Boston 2024 next week!

Joining us as guests of honor will be Yuya Hirose, the talented voice behind Yuuki Wakura, and Yuki Watanabe, the esteemed producer. This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the behind-the-scenes world of “Chained Soldier.”

Both Hirose and Watanabe will participate in a panel titled “Working in the Japanese Anime Industry,” offering valuable perspectives and experiences.

Additionally, they will be hosting an autograph session, giving fans the chance to meet them in person and get their memorabilia signed.
