Universal Studios Japan (USJ) recently unveiled Demon Slayer-themed attractions, but they are also embracing Chainsaw Man, offering an immersive experience overlapping with Halloween. Fans of Chainsaw Man will get to enjoy these special attractions alongside the Demon Slayer attractions, making it a thrilling destination for anime enthusiasts during the fall season.
A key feature of the Chainsaw Man experience at USJ is its inclusion in the Hollywood Dream-The Ride. The ride will entertain fans by playing the anime’s opening theme song, “Kick Back,” along with audio clips featuring Samurai Sword. The Chainsaw Man theme will also be incorporated into the Hollywood Dream-The Ride-Backdrop ride, providing an exhilarating audio experience during the rides.
The Chainsaw Man event at USJ goes beyond rides, offering themed food and merchandise. Fans can indulge in Pochita Steamed Buns filled with bacon and creamed corn, as well as blood orange-flavored Chainsaw Man Churritos. These unique food offerings add to the immersive nature of the event, blending Chainsaw Man aesthetics with seasonal flavors.
In addition to the themed food, fans can purchase Chainsaw Man merchandise, including plushies of Pochita. These plushies come with clips, allowing fans to attach them to bags, clothing, or accessories, offering a fun and portable way to carry a piece of the Chainsaw Man universe with them.
The Chainsaw Man attractions and merchandise at USJ are available for a limited time, starting from September 6 and ending on November 4. This timing allows the series to coincide with Halloween, adding a spooky element to the park.
The manga’s publisher, VIZ Media, describes the series as focusing on Denji, a debt-ridden young man who gains devil powers and transforms into Chainsaw Man, making the horror-themed attractions a fitting addition for the Halloween season.
