Chelsea Star Enzo Fernandez Labels Mason Mount a ‘Coward’ after Man Utd Drama

Enzo Fernandez and Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount clashed after a Premier League match at Stamford Bridge. Mount labeled his former teammate a “coward” in a heated exchange.

Despite United’s comeback from 2-0 down to lead 3-2, Mount’s late introduction sparked controversy among Chelsea fans.

Mount, who joined Chelsea at six and spent 18 years there before moving to Old Trafford last summer for £55 million, faced harsh criticism from the Blues faithful. His every touch was met with boos and jeers.

Despite United’s lead until injury time, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer equalized with a penalty after the clock hit 100 minutes. Palmer’s deflected shot moments later sealed the dramatic win, igniting the home crowd.

Amid the jubilant player celebrations, Fernandez confronted Mount, reminding him of their earlier clash.

According to reports, Fernandez screamed at Mount:

“This is Chelsea, coward, coward, coward.”

Mount maintained his composure, smiling in response before walking away.

Despite scoring his first club goal in the recent draw against Brentford, the night marked another setback in the injury-riddled season for the 25-year-old.

Fernandez’s fiery temper came into focus once again this season. After Chelsea’s loss in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley in February, he got into an altercation with a Liverpool supporter.

In a viral video, the fan taunted Fernandez, calling him “unlucky lad” before laughing.

Initially, Fernandez moved towards the heckler, but his teammates guided him away to collect his runners-up medal.
