Linda McMahon, 75, and her husband, Vince McMahon, co-founded Titan Sports 44 years ago. Before leaving WWE in 2009 to pursue a career in politics, she played a crucial role as President and CEO.

Stevie Richards talked about Linda McMahon’s recent attendance at WrestleMania 40 and the Hall of Fame ceremony on the “The Brand” podcast.

He mentioned that because of Linda’s vast experience and track record of success running the company, TKO, the new parent company of WWE, would think about rehiring her. Richards highlighted Linda’s ability to use her experience and promote development to benefit TKO.

Linda McMahon’s Potential WWE Return

Richards surmised that Linda’s comeback might help ensure a seamless shift from WWE’s previous tactics to TKO’s contemporary methods.

He emphasized how Linda might be able to close the gap between the company’s past achievements and its future course.

“WWE was managed by Linda as a fantastic company. Linda, not Vince, was mostly to blame for the way it grew the way it did. Could TKO, Ari [Emanuel], Nick Khan, and others on the business side of the merger be aware that Linda is a valuable asset to WWE?

Also, it might exist entirely apart from Vince. Is she there to demonstrate that she will be a fine CEO and soldier for the upcoming WWE/TKO regime?

I believe Linda might help them close the gap between the operations of the company, which flourished under her leadership, and now this new era and mixing both of those business plans together.”

Richards also alluded to Linda’s potential comeback as a kind of payback for past transgressions against her husband, Vince McMahon.

“I continue to believe that TKO views Linda as a valuable asset. Additionally, it’s possible that this is her final small payment to Vince for all the harm he has done to her over the years.”

It is unclear if Linda McMahon will rejoin WWE permanently, but her return might signal a major change in the direction of the organization—especially given Vince McMahon’s diminished role.
