The anime made its debut in Japan on January 13, with Crunchyroll simultaneously streaming the series as it airs.

Described as a “yankee x Arabian Nights” anime, “Bucchigiri?!” revolves around Arajin Tomoshibi, who reunites with his former best friend, Matakara Asamine. Their encounter sets the stage for a series of confrontations against formidable adversaries.

Besides directing, Utsumi is acknowledged for the original story creation, shared with series script supervisor and scriptwriter Taku Kishimoto, MAPPA, and TOHO. The character design responsibility, along with being one of the chief animation directors, falls on Takahiro Kagami, supported by Hiroyuki Saita and Kiminori Itō. Michiru Oshima is handling the composition of the music, while Hiromi Kikuta serves as the sound director.

The opening theme song, titled “Sesame,” is performed by Kroi, while the ending theme song, “Love Je t’aime,” is performed by Mahiru Coda.
