One of the season’s biggest mysteries revolves around Ruby’s past. As a foundling, she’s on a quest to discover who her mother is. But as Millie Gibson herself hinted, the Doctor might teach her that there’s more to finding yourself than just your origins.

The original showrunner, Russell T. Davies, is back in charge of Doctor Who season 14! Even Steven Moffat, the showrunner after Davies, is writing an episode for the first time since season 10.

This season will be Gatwa’s first chance to travel through time and space properly, even though he’s already appeared in a short story.

He’ll be joined by his companion Ruby Sunday and some old friends, including Kate Stewart and Mel Bush. It’s going to be a thrilling season, but we’ll have to wait and see who the Doctor’s biggest foe turns out to be!
