Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman are celebrating the arrival of their second child. The couple welcomed their daughter, Rio Rose, into the world on March 12, 2024.

“Welcome to the world, baby girl. We love you so much,” VanCamp shared on Instagram, alongside a tender photo of the newborn’s hand on April 14.

Earlier in February, the 37-year-old actress announced her pregnancy, posting evocative black-and-white maternity images with Bowman, 35, and their first daughter, Iris, who is now 2 years old. “Not long now… Ready when you are little love,” she captioned the photos.

The pair, who first met on the set of the ABC series “Revenge,” playing romantic leads from 2011 to 2015, got engaged in May 2017 and married in December 2018 in the Bahamas.

They welcomed Iris, their first child, in August 2021, with VanCamp announcing, “Welcome to the world our sweet little Iris. Our hearts are full.” In an October 2021 interview, VanCamp spoke about the shift in her priorities from her continuous TV roles to family. 

VanCamp has since taken a step back from her acting career to focus on her family, sharing a glimpse of her life during her first Mother’s Day with a heartwarming message and a beach photo with Iris in May 2022. “You cracked this heart wide open from the moment I first held you, sweet girl. Thanks for choosing me to be your Mama.”
