Racist comments were sent at Belair after a promotional photo of her with Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes was made public. Some even demanded that Belair be fired from WWE.

WWE celebrities, such as Zelina Vega and Becky Lynch, supported Belair anyway. Zelina Vega, Becky Lynch, and Rhea Ripley—among other WWE celebrities—show their support.

While acknowledging the significance of speaking out against such intolerance, particularly for young fans who may be affected by it, Belair said in an interview with MetroUK that she didn’t allow the attacks influence her.
