Meanwhile, Viz Media published the 10th volume in English on February 20. The manga has gained considerable popularity, with circulation numbers surpassing 17 million copies, thanks in part to the success of its anime adaptation.

Not only has “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” received critical acclaim, but it has also earned several awards and nominations.

These include the New Creator Prize at the 25th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize and the 14th Manga Taisho Award, both in 2021.

It has been nominated for Best Shōnen Manga at Kodansha’s Manga Awards and has even been recognized by the American Library Association’s Graphic Novels & Comics Round Table (GNCRT), earning a spot on its top 10 list of the 2022 Best Graphic Novels for Adults Reading List.
