Live-action adaptations of anime are becoming more common in North America, with recent examples like Spirited Away and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood hitting streaming platforms.

Surprisingly, the latest Fullmetal Alchemist stage play has released forty-five minutes of footage from its recent performances, offering Western fans a glimpse of the Elric Brothers’ story on stage.

Fullmetal Alchemist is widely regarded as one of the best anime stories, following Edward and Alphonse Elric as they find their world’s military and seek to undo a tragic alchemy experiment. Despite its popularity, there’s been no hint of a sequel or spin-off from creator Hiromu Arakawa.
