‘General Hospital’ Star Robyn Bernard Passed Away At 64

Robyn Bernard, known for her role on General Hospital during the 1980s, has passed away at the age of 64. Her body was discovered in a field behind a business in San Jacinto, California, with the cause of death yet to be determined.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an ongoing investigation.Born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas, Bernard began her acting career with her first role in Diva in 1981.

However, it was her portrayal of Terry Brock on General Hospital, starting in 1984, that catapulted her to fame. She appeared in 145 episodes as the troubled daughter of David Groh’s character, D.L. Brock, until her departure in 1990.

During her time on the show, Terry grappled with a drinking problem that affected her character’s music career. Beyond General Hospital, Bernard appeared in various TV shows such as Simon & Simon, Whiz Kids, The Facts of Life, Tour of Duty, and Maigret.

She also starred in movies including Betty Blue (1986), Roselyne and the Lions (1989), and Kings for a Day. Her final onscreen appearance was in Voices From the High School (2002), where she portrayed a psychologist.

Following her stint on General Hospital, Bernard had sporadic acting roles, including a part in the French miniseries Maigret in 1992 and the Gallic film Kings for a Day in 1997. She is survived by her sisters Crystal and Scarlett, as well as her father Jerry Wayne Bernard.
