The individual facing fraud charges, previously mentioned as a former member of a vocal group, has been identified as Han Seung Hee, recognized for her association with the group Monday Kiz.

Allegedly, Han Seung Hee borrowed close to 100 million won from an acquaintance and failed to fulfill the repayment, resulting in her transfer to the prosecution’s custody.

As per police reports on February 19 KST, the Ansan Sangnok Police Station in Gyeonggi Province probed Han Seung Hee regarding fraud allegations. Following the investigation, Han Seung Hee was conveyed to the Ansan Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office, with a recommendation for indictment.

The allegations against Han Seung Hee center on his alleged solicitation of funds from ‘Person A,’ identified as a fitness trainer at a gym he frequented in 2022.

Reportedly, Han Seung Hee borrowed 96 million won, claiming it was for investment capital needed to establish a company. However, he purportedly failed to meet the repayment obligations.

Person A took legal action by lodging a complaint with the police in November of the previous year, prompted by Han Seung Hee’s default on repayment and subsequent cessation of communication.

Han Seung Hee embarked on his musical path with Monday Kiz in 2010. After departing from the group in 2014, he ventured into a solo career.
