Han So Hee has addressed the criticism regarding her comment about Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri’s split.

On March 16, just one day after her agency initially denied the rumors of their relationship, Han So Hee personally confirmed in a lengthy blog post that she was dating Ryu Jun Yeol.

In her statement, Han So Hee stated that she and Ryu Jun Yeol began dating after his six-year relationship with Hyeri ended. She alleged Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol broke up in early 2023, months before the official announcement in November.

However, some questioned this claim, citing evidence suggesting the couple might still have been together in the latter half of 2023.

Han So Hee engaged with commenters on her blog post, addressing critiques, including one about discussing her boyfriend’s breakup timing publicly.

The actress responded,

“[What I said about] the timing of their breakup wasn’t something I heard personally [from Ryu Jun Yeol]. I wrote that based on an article from June of last year, but if it was out of line, I’ll delete it. I was trying to prove that we didn’t get together while he was still dating [Hyeri], but I think this was rude as well.”

However, her comment faced criticism as a news outlet reported no articles in June about rumors of Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol’s breakup.

Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency stated that the actor had “gotten to know Han So Hee after his breakup” with Hyeri.
