The internet erupted in speculation after Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was seen shopping with Prince William in Windsor. While some doubted the viral video, others suggested the woman was Heidi Agan, a Kate Middleton lookalike.

Agan, who has impersonated the British royal family for 12 years, clarified that the woman in the video was indeed Kate Middleton. She explained,

“There has obviously been some speculation about whether it was Kate and William in that footage and stills. In fact, my own social media has gone crazy as people think it is me, but I know it is not. I was at work at the time so I know that is not me. I 100 per cent believe that is Kate Middleton and William in that video,” as reported.

Where Is Kate Middleton?

Kate Middleton, 42, hasn’t made any public appearances since undergoing abdominal surgery for a non-cancerous, unspecified condition on January 16.

Amid speculations and controversy surrounding her “disappearance,” Kensington Palace released a Mother’s Day photo of Kate Middleton with her three children on March 10, intensifying scrutiny on the British royal family.

Reports surfaced alleging heavy and amateurish Photoshopping, prompting several agencies, including AP and Reuters, to withdraw the photo.

Later, Kate and Prince William acknowledged on their official account that she had digitally altered the photograph.

Some reports indicate that the royal family will soon provide details about Middleton’s recovery, with expectations of her returning to royal duties in April.
