The official YouTube channel for the Pretty Series franchise unveiled a teaser for the upcoming television anime on Friday, revealing details about the main cast, main staff, and the title “Himitsu no AiPri” (Secret AiPri).

The series adopts the tagline, “Watashi-tachi no Muteki na Live de Mezase! Kirakira no Buzzrium Change!” (Let’s Strive Hard in Our Unrivaled Concerts! Sparkling Buzzrium Change!).

Building on the franchise’s core themes of song, dance, and fashion, the new series introduces the element of “secret” and incorporates a storyline focused on fulfilling the dreams of children aspiring to become someone and undergo a transformation.

The central characters are Himari Aozora and Mizuki Hoshikawa, both first-year middle school students at the private Paradise Academy.

The narrative unfolds as Himari, a shy girl with aspirations to make 10,000 friends, discovers an AiPri Bracelet, leading to her unexpected debut in an AiPri performance—an achievement she has long dreamed of.

The first anime season of Kiratto Pri☆Chan premiered in Japan in April 2018. The second season then premiered in April 2019. The show’s third season premiered in April 2020 and ended this past May. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired.

Idolland PriPara, the smartphone app and anime based on the franchise, delayed the app from spring 2021 until this year.

The Waccha PriMagi! TV anime premiered on October 3, 2021, and its October 2022 finale marked the end of the franchise’s 11-and-a-half years of uninterrupted television anime broadcast history.

The Pretty Series has seen several anime seasons, starting with “Pretty Rhythm: Mini Skirt” in 2010, followed by “PriPara” in 2014, and later “Kiratto Pri☆Chan,” which premiered its first season in April 2018.

The franchise continued with “Waccha PriMagi!,” which began airing on October 3, 2021, and concluded in October 2022. The latest addition to the series is the upcoming anime “Himitsu no AiPri,” which was announced with a teaser video featuring the main cast and staff.

The series will introduce the theme of “secret” and follows the story of two first-year middle school students, Himari Aozora and Mizuki Hoshikawa, who enroll in the private Paradise Academy.

The narrative involves the discovery of an AiPri Bracelet and leads to surprising developments in an AiPri performance.
