In the previous chapter of I’m the Villainous Male Lead’s Terminally Ill Aunt, Oliven and Beluna find Benjamin going through Sarah’s notes frantically and Oliven tells him that their master’s magic stone which was in his possession was activated for a bit. Well, Benjamin basically throws a fit when Oliven decides to tease him.
He was being playful and didn’t disclose their master’s location right away which resulted in a bit of a chaos and Beluna had to intervene to diffuse the situation a bit. Beluna ended up blowing away a wall which was reinforced with magic just to make Benjamin and Oliven focus on the matter at hand.
He could barely get the vague location before it went inactive again. Oliven talks about their master’s magic stone and tells them that one of them is with him while the other one is with their master. The magic stone only reacts when their master uses their original mana.
The situation is weird because their master sealed off their mana so they never use it. The mana stone reacting briefly probably indicated the moment that the souls from two different worlds got connected. Everyone was confused since their master had been trying to do that for six years with no results to show for it.
They realize that something must have happened to their master in Crombel. Someone who was watching it secretly calls the Tower Grandmaster, who is Sarah, and informs her that her disciples are planning something. The three are pretty reckless so whatever they are planning can’t be good.
