It had been a while since Hachiouji had felt that kind of pressure. Nagatoro was teasing him, she asked him if he was entering his wriggly mopey mode for the first time in a while.

Hachiouji was wondering if she was trying to test him, but when she held his hand and tried to comfort him. Hachiouji realized that Nagatoro was trying to figure out his feelings for her.

He noticed her shaky eyes and unsteady lips, and he thought that they were doing the same thing. Hachiouji considered that it was beautiful that they were trying to find out the feelings of the person they loved.

He understood that they had been waiting for too long to settle it. Hachiouji confessed to Nagatoro that when he first met her, he felt like he was being attacked by a wild beast.

Nagatoro did not take it nicely and got mad at Hachiouji for having such a bad impression of her in the beginning.

Nagatoro reminded him she was a cute little girl she was not sure how he could think of her as a wild beast. Hachiouji asked Nagatoro what she felt when she met him for the first time.

Nagatoro explained that when she first met him, she thought Hachiouji was a gross roach. Hachiouji mentioned to Nagatoro that his days had been dazzling because of her presence.

Nagatoro told him it was disgusting that every day was dazzling for him. Hachiouji informed Nagatoro that he always wondered why such a cheerful girl like her was interested in a gloomy like him.

Nagatoro told him she felt a certain connection with him, and that’s why she stuck around him. Hachiouji reminded Nagatoro about all the tyrannical treatment that he received from her throughout the year when she used to humiliate and criticize him.

But he confessed that when he started spending time with her, he decided to change himself. Because he aspires to shine brightly like Nagatoro.

He explained to her that his world which was always quite dull had begun to shine brightly because of her. Nagatoro asked him if his world was shining brightly as they were talking Hachiouji mentioned that it was indeed shining brightly in that moment.

Nagatoro reminded him that it was quite gross, instead of being shy Hachiouji asked Nagatoro to go out with him. It was quite shocking for Nagatoro because she was not expecting a proposal from Hachiouji.

After seeing her flustered even Hachiouji got shy. Nagatoro confessed to Hachiouji that when she could not defeat Orihara anymore, she ended up quitting judo and lost sight of her goal.

It was fun for her in the beginning, but her life became dull after a certain point. Nagatoro mentioned to Hachiouji that her everyday life was quite boring back then, but when she met him she started to slowly embrace change.

Nagatoro requested Hachiouji to take responsibility for changing her, and the two of them finally became a couple.

Hachiouji and Nagatoro went to the beach while holding hands, Hachiouji’s palms were hot and his legs were so light that he felt he could do anything.

On their way, Hachiouji suddenly recalled that Nagatoro had promised him if she won as a reward she was going to kiss him.

He reminded Nagatoro about her promise, she got flustered and told him she could not give him a kiss when they were surrounded by people.

Nagatoro suggested Hachiouji think about the mood, and reminded him that’s why everyone considered him a creepy guy.

Hachiouji apologized to Nagatoro and told her he understood what she meant. Nagatoro knocked out Hachiouji without even realizing it but later apologized to Hachiouji.
