The announcement from Hakusensha on Monday, March 18, 2024, confirming the TV anime adaptation of Nozomi Ginyoku’s “I’m a Behemoth” light novel series has ignited excitement among fans. Alongside this revelation, the anime’s official website has revealed a teaser visual and a special illustration drawn by Taro Shinonome, the talented illustrator behind the manga adaptation of the light novel.

“I’m a Behemoth,” written by Nozomi Ginyoku, initially gained popularity as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, featuring illustrations by Mitsuki Yano. Subsequently, Micro Magazine acquired the publishing rights to the series.

The story follows the adventures of a character who, regardless of being an S-Ranked Monster, is mistaken for a cat and lives as a pet to an elf girl.

The manga adaptation, featuring illustrations by Taro Shinonome, made its debut in Hakusensha’s Young Animal Arashi magazine before transitioning to Young Animal magazine.

Hakusensha Publishing Company has officially confirmed that Nozomi Ginyoku’s “I’m a Behemoth” light novel series will be adapted into a television anime.

While details such as the release date and production studio are yet to be disclosed, the anime’s staff has launched a website featuring a teaser visual showcasing Tama, the reincarnated behemoth, and Aria, the elf girl, against a backdrop of pale green with paw prints as a pattern.

A celebratory visual drawn by Taro Shinomone has been shared on the website, featuring Tama, Aria, Vulcan, and Stella donning their characteristic outfits.

The main cast for the anime has also been announced, with Tasuku Hatanaka taking on the role of Tama, Riho Sugiyama voicing Tama in cat form, and Hinaki Yano joining as the voice of Aria.
